#BeeHouse Reveal - A Hidden Treehouse

Another #BeeHouse reveal post is finally here - along with some updates from our family! On this post, I'll share sunporch and living spaces on the main level at the #BeeHouse. But first, I have some big news! Austin recently earned his license as a residential contractor! I am so proud of his hard work and am always amazed at his gifts and talents and ability to learn quickly. While we are still enjoying our day jobs, we are excited to see where this will take our family and

Small Kitchen, Big Transformation

The kitchen is one of my favorite transformations from before & after of the #BeeHouse. The original kitchen was dark, small, and incredibly outdated. Given all of this, when I saw the kitchen I was thrilled. I saw an extremely functional layout, beautiful windows with light streaming in, and potential! A small kitchen meant that we could really go all in in this space and splurge on making this kitchen pack a punch. Demo and Planning It felt like kitchen demo lasted forever!

#BeeHouse Before & After Exterior Remodel

As we approached the end and I had time for a post, I really wanted to keep updated pictures of the house to ourselves until we had final photos. We updated almost every a

It's Spring Break for me, but I have not been taking a break! Lucky for you all because I finally have some time to dedicate to Styling the Streets. We have been so busy with the #BeeHouse. We aren't yet ready for regular #BeeHouse posts, but I plan to have an update on the blog for you soon. I want to keep this project close until we have some wonderful before and after photos. I'm active on Instagram pretty regularly so make sure you follow us there for more frequent update

Entryway Reveal using IKEA Hack

We are so glad to finally share this finished reveal of the #StreetHouse entryway. So many things held up progress on what was meant to be a weekend project - Covid-19, shipping delays, door hinges, and more! Everything came together perfectly for our vision of this space. The entryway feels so much more welcoming and brighter. Now, if this pandemic will end so we can have people over! Getting Started Our entryway originally had a wall of double closets with two large wire sh
